CCNA Success Stories

Here are some of the experiences and comments as told by the recent outgoing CCNA Class of Nov 2003-May 2004.

"I did my CCNA exam immediately after the Academy program. I scored 948. I had been preparing throughout. I utilized the time I had at AFRALTI. All I would tell you is that the exam is not bad and students from this Academy should be capable of passing." - William

"I went to the testing center with one goal, to pass the CCNA certification exam, I scored 925. I'm quite happy to be a CCNA. All questions came from what we did at the Academy. What you learn from the class is the most important. Understanding the concepts is the key to passing since the questions are not straightforward. Do not panic, its quite unhealthy. I'm now going to do the Linux course at Afralti." - Ibtisaam

"At my first attempt on the CCNA certification exam, I passed with over 920 points. To my class colleagues, prepare well, don't panic, the exam is fair. You too will pass. All the best." - Peninnah

"I sat my certification exam and hit 857. I'm now CCNA. I had 120 minutes to do the exam which was just enough. I spent time on simulations, but I made sure that I completed them successfully. I did not have much time on the other questions but I had to complete the exam, and I passed. - David

"I did the exam in one hour though I had two hours to complete the CCNA certification exam. I scored 918. The maximum time I spent on the simulation was only six minutes. I studied so hard and in depth, prepared for anything, but some of the course content was not tested. The exam is not difficult but prepare adequately. I' now doing the Linux course after this I will do the Network Security Course " - Stephen

" I sat my CCNA certification exam. I passed with a score of 887! I got my simulations in the middle of the exam, this made me do the other mcma, mcsa, drag and drop questions very fast to reserve enough time for the more demanding simulations. The simulations were not that difficult and I managed to do them successfully. When I completed the exam, I had 48 minutes left. To pass the exam do a lot of questions and know the labs well. I'm now doing the Linux course running at AFRALTI. All the best." - Martin

"I passed the 640-801 exam with a score of 887. I would not say the exam is easy. You must be very careful when making choices especially with mcma and the mcsa questions. I did the simulations without major problems. I attribute this to the practicals that we had been doing at AFRALTI. All the exam objectives came from the contents covered at the Academy. I'm now going to do Linux, after that I would like to attend the Network Security course." - Gaitho

"I passed the CCNA certification exam with a score of 975. After the Academy programme, I embarked on a one week thorough revision followed by some days on questions. I'm so happy to be a CCNA. Special thanks to Academy instructors for everything" - Mohammed

"I passed my CCNA certification exam with a score of 850. I managed to finish the exam thirty minutes before time. I would not say that the exam is difficult but it's tricky. Anybody who has gone through the Academy programme at Afralti is capable of passing. I had two simulations which I did without problems. I think one of my major problem was that I panicked a bit, so guys try not to panic. For the last few weeks I've been preparing by doing a lot of questions and simulations" - Miriam

"I sat my 801 and passed with a score of 862. Great! The exam is challenging, that's what I must tell you! I managed my time well and I had twenty minutes left. You have to get the sims right and also make sure the connectivity tests pass, then move on to the next items. All my sims worked. I've been preparing both at the Academy and at home. Do not fear facing the exam, provided you've been seriously revising you will pass. I'm happy to be a CCNA. I will do Linux and after that the Cisco Security course." - Kevin

"I scored 887 in my CCNA exam. I did the exam in more or less one hour, I had two hours. The two sims were not difficult and I did them in a very short period, the pings were successful. I had enough time for the other questions. I got questions that seemed different from the ones I've been studying, so I would urge you to try understanding the contents instead of cramming and you will surely pass. All the exam questions came from what we covered at the Academy." - Charles
