The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the set of devices and systems that interconnect real-world sensors and actuators to the Internet. IoT aims to make every internet-capable device interconnected in some useful way with the aim of improving the quality of life; processing sensor data with analytics or AI techniques, and autonomously controlling actuators or notifying humans as a result.
