Virtual Cyber Drill on Supply Chain Attack Response
Strengthening Cyber Resilience Through Real-World Simulation
The African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI), in partnership with CTFROOM, is pleased to announce a Virtual Cyber Drill on Supply Chain Attack Response — a high-impact, facilitator-led exercise designed to enhance cyber resilience among national incident response teams across the region.
This strategic initiative leverages RangeTime, CTFROOM’s advanced cyber range platform, to deliver a realistic and structured simulation of a supply chain cyber attack. The drill provides participants with a hands-on opportunity to rehearse incident response in an environment that closely mirrors real-world cyber threats.
Why This Cyber Drill Matters
Supply chain attacks continue to pose significant risks to organizations by exploiting trusted systems and service relationships. This exercise is designed to help participants:
- Strengthen incident detection and response capabilities
- Improve coordination across teams and institutions
- Enhance decision-making under operational pressure
- Build resilience against emerging cybersecurity threats
What Participants Will Experience
During the cyber drill, participants will engage in a simulated supply chain attack scenario, focusing on key response functions such as:
- Incident detection and triage
- Technical analysis and validation
- Cross-team coordination and communication
- Containment and eradication strategies
- Recovery planning and post-incident review
Measurable Outcomes and Insights
At the end of the exercise, participants will receive a Cyber Resilience Scorecard, providing structured insights into performance, strengths, and areas for improvement. This enables organizations to translate the exercise into actionable strategies for long-term cybersecurity readiness.
Participants will also receive certificates of participation, recognizing their engagement in this high-value capacity-building initiative.
