AFRALTI pens MoU with PAPU



AFRALTI and the Pan African Postal Union (PAPU)  signed a long-term partnership during the fringes of the Policy and Regulation Committee’s inaugural meeting held in Nairobi (Kenya),  William Baraza and Messrs. Sifundo C. Moyo, respectively Director of the African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI) and PAPU Secretary General, executed a Memorandum of Understanding witnessed by members and facilitated by the Chairman of the Committee.
With emergence of new technology in the postal and courier industry, the partnership will facilitate mass training of key stakeholders across Africa. A special emphasis will be laid on digital and managerial skilling, among others, in the field of postal and courier services.
The Pan African Postal Union (PAPU) is a specialized institution of the African Union. Its main objective is to coordinate all activities aimed at developing postal services on the African continent.
