Cybersecurity Officers’ Training in Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Programme

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) continues to equip the ICT industry professionals with advanced information security skills in its endeavor to protect the country’s cyberspace.  This year the Authority has sponsored sixty Cybersecurity officers  to study and take certification in information security management (CISM).

In her opening speech, Mrs. Patricia Kemei representing the Ag. Director General, Mrs. Mercy Wanjau, recognized the importance of this kind of training and the need to secure network infrastructure,  educate the end users and also review of ICT policies to better protect our information assets.

This is a two-week programme delivered by AFRALTI  in a virtual classroom environment. The programme started on 22nd June and came to a close on 3rd July, 2020. Participants were engaged in live online discussions and a variety of self-study learning activities.
