Kenya celebrated Safer Internet Day on 13th February 2020 . The event aimed at creating both a safer and a better internet, where everyone is empowered to use technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. The campaign aimed at reaching out to children and young people, parents and carers, teachers, educators and social workers, as well as industry, decision makers and politicians, encouraging everyone to play their part in creating a better internet. This years event ran under the slogan “Together for a better internet”
AFRALTI as one of the Child Online Protection stakeholders took part in this year’s celebration held at the Communications Authority of Kenya by participating in a Live discussion and exhibiting at the event .
