AFRALTI AND THE UNITED KINGDOM TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACADEMY (UKTA) PARTNER WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI ENTERPRISE SERVICES LTD TO HOST ONLINE MASTER OF COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT (EMCM)



The African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI) and the United Kingdom Telecommunications Academy (UKTA) have joined forces with the University of Nairobi Enterprise Services Ltd (UNES) to host the Online Master of Communications Management (eMCM) program, in addition to other collaboration activities.

The eMCM program, offered by UKTA in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), will be delivered online by experienced lecturers and professors from the United Kingdom. Graduates will receive a prestigious degree from the University of Nairobi. This program is tailored for ICT professionals, including engineers and managers in telecommunications, ICT service providers, regulatory authorities, and policymakers in government ICT departments.

The partnership will focus on various collaboration activities, including:

  • ICT development initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa, emphasizing joint training programs, consultancy, and research activities.
  • Establishment of Centers of Excellence in Biotechnology, ICT, Informatics, Materials, Environmental, and Telecommunications at the University of Nairobi.
  • Promotion of universal and affordable ICT access leveraging UKTA’s global expertise in information and communication technologies.

 

By creating a dynamic framework for cooperation, the partners aim to foster knowledge exchange, innovation, and sustainable development in the fields of ICT and communications management.
