What is the structure of the CCNA course?

This course is divided into four modules: Introduction to Networks which looks at networking fundamentals; Routing and Switching Essentials which discusses routing protocols and some of the switching concepts; Scaling Networks which looks at advanced switching concepts; Connecting Networks which focuses on interconnection of networks.

How long will I take to complete the course?

This is a part-time course that is offered either in the morning from 9am to 11am, afternoon from 2pm to 4pm, evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm or Saturdays only from 9am to 3pm. Kindly note you can only join one of these sessions. The course runs for a period of 4 months.

Can this course be taken by someone who does not have an IT background?

We recommend taking the PC Hardware & Software Maintenance Course (A+) which exposes one to the introductory concepts of IT after which you can join this course.

Can I take the first two modules then continue with the others later?

Yes you can. However when you rejoin, you will be charged an administration fee of Kshs 5,000

Does one get internship after completing the course?

We have partnered with some organizations and from time to time these organizations do absorb students after they complete the course and take the certification exam and pass.


Can one get an exam voucher?

Yes one can get an exam voucher, however they must have achieved a score of 75% in the final exam of the last module of the CCNA course.
