Safaricom Partners with AFRALTI in the Digitalent Program

Earlier in the year, technology sector players in Kenya launched a Digital Talent Program that aims to develop digital skills in the market by taking a sustainable approach to creating a healthy digital talent pipeline. AFRALTI held its one (1) week long Liaison Officers Forum at its main campus in Nairobi. In attendance were officers from the Communications Authority of Kenya , Uganda Communications Commission, Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority – MACRA, Potraz, Nigerian Communications Commission, Tmcel – Moçambique Telecom, S.A and Instituto Nacional das Comunicações de Moçambique. 64th Meeting Of The AFRALTI Governing Council

The 64th AFRALTI Governing Council meeting was officially opened on 6th September 2022 in Zimbabwe at the Kingdom Hotel, Victoria Falls, hosted by the Postal & Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ). The council was chaired by Malawi with the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) Director General Daud Suleman being the Chairman.Read more

In Sept 2022, participants from the National Communication Authority (NCA) of South Sudan completed the inaugural 5 days training at AFRALTI main campus in Managing Regulatory Compliance.
